Among the various chapters of urology treated by the author, we chose to analyze the first four:

1) Kidney pain: Ibn Tofail conducting a topographic classification while detailing semiotics and differential diagnosis. He concludes with a treatment based on plants and bleeding.

2) Renal tumors: after topographic and etiologic classification, Ibn Tofail discusses the case of abscess as well . The proposed treatment regroups : bleeding, bandages, dressings and plants , recovery is a fundamental complement treatment.

- Ulcers: diagnosis is based on both the functional symptoms reported by the patient as well as signs found by the physician himself.

The treatment involves cleaning, healing and analgesics.

3) Stones: this chapter is filled with pathophysiological details and variance depending on the age, gender and the context.

Treatment includes more plants, special manoeuvres described and whose effectiveness is recently proven (postural therapy).
