Held in celebration of the 15th centenary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth, this special symposium focuses on “Contemporary Medicine in Light of Prophetic Guidance.” Organized by the Heritage Committee in partnership with academic and scientific institutions, the event takes place from 22 to 24 April 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry in Fez. It is conceived as an intellectual and ethical reflection on how Prophetic values can illuminate modern medical practice, education, and research.
Over three days, the program brings together scholars, physicians, and academics for roundtables, keynote lectures, and thematic sessions on topics such as the ethical conscience of the physician, human dignity in care, medical education, scientific research, and the integration of humanitarian and spiritual values into healthcare. The event highlights a vision of medicine that goes beyond technical expertise alone, promoting compassion, integrity, responsibility, and service to humanity as central pillars of the contemporary physician’s mission.
